BCI Truck is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to support our customers and workshop technicians with accurate parts identification and supply for the Sitrak truck range. You’ll be an essential link between our parts inventory, our service team, and our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying and interpreting correct parts using electronic parts catalogues, diagrams, and technical references
- Processing parts orders, quotes, and returns accurately and efficiently
- Providing exceptional customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email
- Coordinating with suppliers and warehouse to manage stock levels and ensure parts availability
- Supporting workshop technicians with parts requirements for scheduled and breakdown work
- Maintaining accurate records in the parts management system
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a parts interpreter or in a parts/wholesale role within the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck components, systems, and terminology
- Proficiency with electronic parts catalogues and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
