BCI Truck is looking for a skilled and hands-on Vehicle Accessories Fitter to prepare and fit approved accessories to our Sitrak trucks before they reach the customer. You’ll play a key role in making sure every truck that leaves our facility is finished to the highest standard and meets both customer expectations and compliance requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Fitting and installing accessories including bull bars, toolboxes, lighting, mudguards, safety equipment, trays, and other approved aftermarket components
- Reading and following fitment instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Ensuring all installations meet compliance, quality, and safety standards
- Liaising with the workshop and parts teams to coordinate fitment schedules
- Conducting final quality inspections on completed work
What we’re looking for:
- Trade qualification or demonstrated experience in vehicle accessories fitting, auto electrical, panel/body building, or a related mechanical trade
- Experience fitting accessories to heavy vehicles or commercial vehicles (highly regarded)
- Ability to read technical drawings and fitment guides
- Competent with hand and power tools, drills, welding (MIG/TIG desirable), and general fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Current driver’s licence
- A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
